I haven't been on dA lately, and I apologize. Looks like DDR, along with more homework, projects, and recent events, has cut into my computer time. Ultimately, I feel that this is overall good, as I'm claimed to spend too much time in front of my screen.

Recent Events:

-The Toshiba laptop finally croaked. Hard Drive Failure, then Power Failure, and now LCD Inverter Failure. Crud.
-The HP's power and heat problem has been solved through judicious use of a soldering iron and my mouth. Never has metal tasted so... hot.
-My animation project still isn't due, mainly due to my inability to import video, get the rotoscoping done, and render noise in Renoise

Speaking of, I've recently been hooked into Renoise, a cross-platform DAW that I LOVE. Its tracker interface is so sleek, and once I got the hang of it, fast! Making music has never been so fun for me. I'm going to post some Youtube vids if I get a chance so I can show you guys what I've been doing in it. WARNING: These videos will feature lots of breakcore/ambient/dubstep. Never thought I'd use those three genres in the same sentence.

Again, speaking of, I've been into dubstep recently (like Skream and Bar 9), and I'm going to try to find some more artists and make my own dubstep. With Renoise, I've found that anything is possible!

Aaaaand I'm now in Windows camp again. I downloaded Perfect World again, so I can play an mmo with a friend of mine, and I have a few other progz now that make me too lazy to switch back to or dual-boot Linux at the moment (IWBTG, Renoise, Firefox 3.6 beta 2, Ether Saga...) so Windows it is for a while (meaning, until I decide whether to invest in fixing the Toshiba or fixing this HP.)

See, the HP has a bad battery, no keyboard, and no touchpad. So for now, it's stuck as a desktop laptop. If I could, I'd fix it up, since it has better raw power than the Toshiba, but... it's an HP. I have a personal thing against HP since most of the things we've bought from them have broken down. Printers, scanners, computers, cameras... It's a true shame. So now I'm on the fence over fixing one of my computers.

Oh, and I'm still working on the 100 Theme challenge. So far, I've finished "Introduction" and "Questioning", the latter of which is a proper picture, while the former is very sketchy. So now, I'm working on "Love", "Light", and "Dark".
